Pantera Press Acquires ANZ Rights for New Books by Sasha Wasley

Pantera Press has bought ANZ rights for two new books by Perth author Sasha Wasley from Alex Adsett Publishing Services.

Spring Clean for the Peach Queen, is an exciting new direction for Wasley, who has previously published rural romance and young adult fiction.

This compulsively readable book is the story of a woman who returns home in need of a second chance and touches on the complicated relationships between mothers and daughters and how to spark joy back in your life.

“We know Australian readers love honest, uplifting intergenerational stories about women,” said Lex Hirst, Publishing Director at Pantera Press.

“Sasha’s storytelling is charming, nuanced and real, with a timely, feminist undercurrent. She’s such an exciting new voice in women’s fiction and we can’t wait to introduce her to readers.”

“I’m thrilled to be working with Pantera Press to bring Spring Clean for the Peach Queen into the world,” said Wasley.

“The moment I discovered Pantera’s ethos of publishing books that ignite change and shine a light on social issues, I knew we would be a perfect fit.”

Agent Alex Adsett said: “I’ve always admired Pantera’s passion for great stories, and am so excited to see the changes within the company over the last few years. I am delighted Spring Clean for the Peach Queen has found a home with such a dynamic company, and can’t wait for the rest of the world to read it.”

Spring Clean for the Peach Queen will be published in 2021, and Sasha’s following novel in 2022.
