Pantera Press CEO Ali Green named Sydney Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Arts & Culture

Ali Green, Pantera Press CEO and Founding Director, has been named the 2020 Sydney Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Arts & Culture.

The Business News Australia Sydney Young Entrepreneur Awards recognising outstanding achievements of business leaders were held in a virtual ceremony this year on Monday 7 December. The award recognises Pantera’s innovative social purpose business model and its contribution to arts and culture in Australia.

‘This truly is a win for our entire team, as well as our authors. It’s a good reminder to reflect on our accomplishments and especially so in this COVID year when so many of our publishing plans had to be changed,’ said Green. ‘We have such a wonderful team dedicated to publishing books that have real impact and I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished, as well as the exciting things ahead!’

Pantera Press was recently named named the #1 2020 Heatseeker, an award that recognises both short-term and long-term growth, by Nielsen BookScan at this year’s Independent Publishing Conference. Pantera also made its debut this year on BookScan’s Top 10 Australian Indie Publisher list.
