PANTERA PRESS DONATES $10,000 TO THE RED CROSS BUSH FIRE DISASTER RELIEF AND RECOVERY FUND

Message from Alison Green, CEO of Pantera Press:

“We are incredibly saddened by the bushfire devastation sweeping across Australia.

Over the Christmas holidays some of our staff and authors had to face evacuation, loss of power, and unfortunately some had their homes, properties or towns severely damaged by the fires.

Like so many, we are grateful to the firefighters, and volunteer firefighters, out there tirelessly fighting to protect our people and wildlife. But we know this crisis is really only beginning, and that it will take a long time for Australia to recover. This is an important time for us to rally together and assist our community.

To show our support, Pantera Press has donated $10,000 to the Red Cross Bush Fire Disaster Relief and Recovery fund, which is working directly to help the victims of this disaster. Further to this, we will be matching staff and author donations to any DGR1 organisations and charities in support of bushfire relief.

We are continuing to explore ways in which Pantera Press might be able to help as the crisis unfolds.”
