John M. Green AKA GYARADOS
John:
- Writes political, financial, sophisticated, cyber-terrorism thrillers starring fiery, surfer heroine, Tori Swyft.
- An investment banker and lawyer turned author and snappy dresser.
- Upcoming thriller: The Tao Deception.
Gyarados
- Type: Water, Flying
- Ability: Intimidate
- Gyarados is a serpentine Chinese dragon-like Pokémon. Its fangs can crush stones and its scales are harder than steel. Gyarados is infamously known for its fierce temper and wanton destructive tendencies, and is attracted to violence. Gyarados is also notoriously difficult to tame even after it is captured by the Trainer, usually requiring an exceptional amount of work in taming it until it can obey its Trainer (as noted by his editor).
Wanda Wiltshire AKA CLEFAIRY
Wanda:
- Writes YA fantasy romance about faeries and the enchanting land of Faera, infused with lovely colourful worlds, creatures and plants.
- Loves the colour pink.
- An incurable dreamer.
Clefairy:
- Type: Fairy
- Abilities: Cute Charm or Magic Guard
- Evolves into Clefable when exposed to a Moon Stone. Clefairy is very shy and rarely shows itself to humans. On the rare occasions it does come down from its mountain home, it can be seen dancing under the light of the full moon. Once the sun starts to rise, it returns home where it sleeps nestled with other Clefairy. Though incapable of flight, Clefairy’s wings can store moonlight and allow it to float.
Lynette Noni AKA PIKACHU
Lynette:
- Writes YA Fantasy.
- Loves Disney, Hogwarts and Narnia.
- Has a bubbly, cheeky personality.
Pikachu:
- Type: Electric
- Ability: Static
- Pikachu has an electric personality and is able to release electric discharges of varying intensity. Has been known to be mischievous, a little bit stubborn, but a very happy and loyal companion.
Sulari Gentill AKA PARAS
Sulari:
- Writes historical crime fiction mystery novels set in 1930s Australia starring artist-cum-amateur detective, Rowland Sinclair.
- She grows French black truffles on her farm in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains of NSW, which she shares with her young family and several animals.
Paras:
- Type: Bug, Grass, Mushroom Pokémon
- Ability: Effect Spore
- Paras can thrive in damp forests with high amounts of humidity where conditions are ideal for fungi. The mushrooms are popular among collectors and have medicinal uses, usually involving extended life.
Melanie Casey AKA PERSIAN
Melanie:
- Writes paranormal crime detective series featuring psychic, Cass Lehman.
- Loves cats.
Persian:
- Type: Normal, Classy Cat Pokémon
- Ability: Unnerve
- Popular for its elegance, Persian normally lives in towns and cities. Can have a temperamental personality and has been observed ripping its prey apart for no discernible reason.
Robin Baker AKA HAUNTER
Robin:
- Writes black comedy with a focus on death and mortality.
- A former English teacher turned funeral director.
Haunter:
- Type: Ghost
- Ability: Levitate
- Haunter hides in very dark places, where it plots to take the life of the next living thing that comes near it. Despite its predatory nature, it has been known to entertain and prank people.
B. Michael Radburn AKA VENUSAUR
Baz:
- Writes crime thrillers with a paranormal edge influenced by the hauntingly beautiful surrounds of his farm in the Southern Highlands.
- Loves riding his Harley Davidson, and jamming on his guitar, banjo or harmonica.
Venusaur:
- Type: Grass, Poison
- Ability: Overgrow
- Venusaur uses its flower to catch the sun’s rays to convert them into energy, which causes the flower to take on colours that are more vibrant. The flower releases a soothing scent that becomes stronger after a rainy day. Venusaur has demonstrated the ability to manipulate nature and has been known to inhabit grasslands.
Graham Potts AKA AERODACTYL
Graham:
- Writes action that thrills and intrigues.
- Member of the Royal Australian Air Force.
- In the defence force, constantly on the move.
Aerodactyl:
- Type: Flying
- Abilities: rock head or pressure
- With its impressive wings, Aerodactyl fearlessly soars high in the skies. When at rest it enjoys the safety and seclusion of the mountains where it likes to nest. Aerodactyl is extant using Fossil revitalization, but is considered extinct in the wild. Its serrated fangs and ferocious attitude are very imposing, and it is said to be capable of effortlessly ripping out enemies’ throats.
J M Donellan AKA MR MIME
Josh:
- A writer, musician, slam poet, radio DJ and teacher.
- Writes quirky tales. He has been known to change words when they don’t fit the rhythm of his writing.
Mr Mime:
- Type: Psychic
- Ability: Mimic, soundproof or filter
- This Pokémon is an excellent pantomime. As it matures, it gains the ability to solidify air molecules by vibrating its fingertips. This ability allows it to create invisible objects with its gestures. It punishes those who interrupt its act by slapping them.
