Pantera Press Named Nielsen Bookscan Heatseeker for the Third Year


Pantera Press has been named a 2019 Heatseeker by Nielsen Bookscan at the Independent Publishing Conference.

Nielsen Bookscan award this to the leading independent publishers who demonstrate both long-term and short-term growth. This is the third year Pantera Press have been recognised as a Heatseeker.

“We’re thrilled to see that small and independent publishers are publishing amazing and important books in such a competitive market, and that so much growth is coming from this independent publishing sector,” said Alison Green, CEO of Pantera Press.

“We’ve been working hard over the last few years to grow Pantera’s publishing. Being recognised amongst these other publishers, also working hard to make a difference, is truly rewarding.”

Pantera Press published 14 books in 2019 and will publish 22 books in 2020. These include Torched by Kimberley Starr, The Serpent’s Skin by Walkley award-winning journalist Erina Reddan, Glimpses of Utopia by Sydney Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Scully and Lead the Way by teen activist Jean Hinchliffe.
